Hereford Pubs : Booth Hall pub in Hereford 'Staff pleasant and helpful, the pub is clean but an odd mix of old and new. It is a listed building with a modern (and unattractive) twist. Extensive menu, well cooked and good value food. Reasonable selection of drinks. This is a family orientated pub at lunch times, and a young and trendy bar at night
There is a large beer garden with plenty of room for smokers after 1st July!' Report
Hereford Pubs : Golden Fleece pub in Hereford 'Clean, attractive old fashioned pub. The staff are very friendly and keep a good cellar. It is a Banks' pub but there is also a reasonable selection of drinks. Cocktails are also available.
It is in a prime location right by many restaurants and takeaways, so they do not do food on the premises.
The clientele are mainly 40-somethings, and the atmosphere is friendly and light-hearted.
A very pleasant venue!' Report
Hereford Pubs : Saxtys Wine Bar and Restaurant pub in Hereford 'Has just had a major refurb - big mistake! It is dark and dreary, rather like going into a tunnel. An old building that has been tragically updated. What is this current obsession in Hereford with modernisation?
Not at all appealing -overpriced and no real character or atmosphere. My advice - don't bother!' Report
Hereford Pubs : The Imperial pub in Hereford 'Clean but with no atmosphere whatsoever. A dismal pub that is overpriced and tacky. A lovely old building that has been ripped apart inside to create a naff large room with no curtains, striped carpets and exposed ducting... Smith & Jones should be ashamed of themselves!' Report
